Ippo Makunouchi started to love boxing after being saved by a pro boxer, Mamoru Takamura from the guys who always bullied him. He falled inlove with the sport and started the training at the Kamogawa Gym, owned by a retired boxer Genji Kamogawa and his life started to change.
